3D PRINTING SERVICES
There are two types of 3D printing with us which are FDM and DLP
FDM - Fused Deposition Modeling:
FDM printing is a type of 3D printing technology. It works by depositing melted thermoplastic material layer by layer to create a three-dimensional object. It is popular due to its relatively low cost, ease of use, and wide range of available materials. It is used for prototyping, hobby projects, and even small-scale manufacturing.
Material : The FDM printer uses a spool of thermoplastic filament, which is loaded into the printer. Common materials include PLA, ABS, PETG, and TPU.
DLP - Digital Light Processing:
DLP printing is another type of 3D printing technology. It uses a digital light projector to cure photopolymer resin, layer by layer, to create a three-dimensional object. It is known for producing high-resolution prints with fine details and smooth surface finishes. It is widely used in applications that require high precision and fine details, such as jewelry, dental models, and intricate prototypes.Resin Preparation: A liquid photopolymer resin is loaded into a resin tank (vat) of the DLP printer. The resin is sensitive to light, particularly to the specific wavelength emitted by the projector.
Projection and Curing: The DLP printer uses a digital light projector to project a two-dimensional image of each layer onto the surface of the resin. The light cures (solidifies) the resin where it hits, creating a solid layer of the object. The projector typically uses a high-resolution digital screen, like a digital micromirror device (DMD), to control the shape and resolution of each layer.
